Missing Giant Schnauzer - CH MACH2 Wildwoods Bleuzenn
Article From TwinCities.com - Pioneer Press

A giant schnauzer went missing on July 4 from her home in Webster, Minn., and her family is asking for the public's help in finding her.

CH MACH2 Wildwoods Bleuzenn, a 9-year-old giant schnauzer, is a national champion in conformation and agility. She is the oldest of four giant schnauzers owned by Chris and Ginny Hayes.

The Hayes woke up about 5:30 a.m. on July 5 to feed the four dogs, only to find Bleuzenn had disappeared.

"It's like she literally disappeared from the face of the earth," Chris Hayes said Saturday.

The Hayes' Webster home sits on six acres of land that is entirely fenced in, Chris Hayes said.

"And she's the alpha dog in our pack, so she has no inclination to leave," he said.

Her disappearance has devastated and puzzled the Hayes family. Bleuzenn was their first giant schnauzer and is "very attached to Ginny," Chris Hayes said.

Bleuzenn is black, with tall, pointed ears. She stands 27 inches at her shoulders and weighs 85 pounds. She is missing three toes and wears a turquoise and purple collar.

Bleuzenn is described as well socialized and friendly. She would likely approach people if she were hungry or thirsty.

The family is offering a $1,600 reward for the safe return of Bleuzenn. Friends and supporters have donated to the cause, Chris Hayes said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chris or Ginny Hayes at 952-652-2820 or bleuzzie@netscape.net or hanumanhayes@gmail.com.
